Blogger Slacker...

I have had so many wonderful things happen and get accomplished and I have not even had time to blog about it.
Northwest Arkansas:
I got to take a wonderful two short plane ride to see my BFF way back from 2nd grade and my sweet niece Adeline. We had a wonderful weekend. I got there around lunch time on Friday and we grabbed some lunch and headed back home to put A down for her nap. We spent the afternoon chatting it up and waited for Jon to get home so we could have a girls night out on the town. We went and ate at Noodles, which is kind of like Olive Garden, it was really good. It was actually the first time I had eaten a real meal in like 2 weeks...so that made it even better. After dinner we stopped by Target to get us some goodies for the movie. A trip is not a trip to Target unless you stop and look at the clothes. Lindsey decided to try on an outfit, with her clothes still on to say the least..ha! It was a lot of fun, then we headed over to finally watch SATC2...I thought it was fabulous :)

Lindsey trying on her outfit :) A and I in our matching purple!!!

Saturday: Jon got up and made us wonderful pancakes and we waited for A to get up from her nap and then headed off to the farmers market..It was wonderful. I really need to find something like that around here to go to because I love getting fresh fruits and vegetables. Then Lindsey knew I had only eaten grilled cheeses for the past week so she took me to this place called The Grilled Cheese...It was delicious then we headed across the street to the Orange Mango for some delicious yogurt. I was very sad that my taste buds were not up for several flavors because I would have piled them on. Saturday night they cooked fajitas and we watched little A swim in her pool...It was too cute!!

Sunday: We got up and just hung around the house, I had to a midterm exam to submit and then I got my stuff together to head back to Houston..boo! I was not very happy about leaving beautiful Arkansas and coming back to humid Houston...but I missed my hubby and dogs so it was all worth it. Before I left we headed to the Promenade outdoor mall which was really nice and had some PF Chang's for lunch...which was delicious as well. Then Lindsey dropped me off at the airport and I was home bound. It has been twice now that my plane has been delayed in Dallas, either they don't have it together or Dallas just really wants me to stay there every time I am trying to come home :)

Baby update:
I am 9 weeks prego. I just pray every day that this sweet baby is growing and getting more healthy every day. I was reading a blog this week and saw they lost their sweet baby boy and I just broke down into tears. It is hard to imagine that happening to anyone, but now that I have this little one growing inside of me it makes it more surreal than ever. I have been feeling 100 times better over all. A few headaches every now and again, some nauseas days, and lots of sleeping and naps. Jason loves telling me that he can't believe that my belly is and has gotten so big (which deep down I am thinking thanks honey, that is so sweet of you) but I just say that I am just praying it is because my little peanut is growing big and strong. I go to the doctor again on Tuesday, so I am very excited to see my sonogram and little peanut again to see how it is progressing.

~More later this week on my progress and early "nesting" I am doing around the house!

A lot to do....

Well I finally started feeling better this week and decided I better start trying to attempt to clean the back bedroom up for little peanut! As you can see Zeus decided to come in and help, but I think I need more than him to get all of this stuff out of this room and organized. We have already realized that we have so much stuff and our house is not as big as we thought now :)

We have to fit the desk, piano, and all of our filing stuff plus what is already in the other room in there, did I mention it is like 10X10...gah! Well hopefully we can work something out and get it all out of there and get this room looking good!

Yeah I have let this room get out of control...thank goodness I have all summer to get it cleared out and ready to fill with sweet baby stuff!

It actually looks a little better and I made it worse when I cleared out some totes that were in the closet of old papers that need to meet the shredder.

At least the closet is cleaned out now :)

Our little Peanut....

Our little peanut...The doctor was about two weeks off after they measured the baby, so my due date is now January 20th. It was so funny hearing Jason ask the doctor if there was only one baby in there...His sigh of relief was truly priceless. I have felt fine baby wise but I have had terrible allergies going on 9 days now. The past two nights are the first nights that I could actually breath out of my nose and get some decent sleep. I think God knew exactly what he was doing when he made this baby around my summer break because I don't know if I would have made it through the rest of the school year with this. It is my summer break and I am just thrilled that I have 2 1/2 months to just sit and relax. Although once I get feeling better I know that I will be on the go trying to get this house ready for baby. The first task is to get the back room cleared out..It is a mess! We now realize how little room we have and are trying to figure out where we are going to put what to make room for all of the "stuff" I have already seen I want to purchase :)

6 Tests later....

Well...After 5 Tests at home and one at the doctors office it is official..We are having a baby!!! I took my first test last Friday night.. Here it is below..Jason didn't believe it was real because it was just a cheap one from the $1 store..but there were still two lines so I had back up supply of more expensive ones that he told me to take immediately so I did that and.....

Here is the result of it...Once again Pregnant!!! I took the other one in the box the next morning..Once again just to make sure there were no mistakes :)

Sunday we took a break from the tests...but went out and got another two on Monday..ha! Yes, we are crazy I know :) BUT once again those two...two lines again saying you crazy Morris family there is a baby in there..hee

Figured I better go ahead and take a picture of what I looked like before...because this tummy is already starting to grow!! I am telling Jason it is twins..but he is not thinking that is very funny! You never know though twins run on both my grandparents side :)

We decided we better go ahead and tell my kiddos at school since I was already getting gifts on my door and all of the teachers were hugging me and saying congratulations while rubbing their tummies..ha! So my team teacher said that she remembered her 4th grade teaching playing a game of hang man to tell them that she was having a baby...so we did the same! The kids had so much fun trying to figure it out but once they did you could hear them screaming all over the building..ha! It was a lot of fun!

We had our first doctors appointment on Wednesday and they took 7 tubes of blood I was real close to passing out, and it didn't help that Jason was trying to take out my phone and video take me. Thank goodness I had a super sweet nurse who told him that videos were not allowed, and then she turned and winked at me :) I still don't think it has sunk into Jason's mind that he is going to be a daddy, even after the nurse told him the 6th test came back positive also..ha! Hopefully when we go this coming up Wednesday and hear the heartbeat he will see it is all real. We haven't got an official due date yet, but I am figuring we are going to either get a Christmas or New Years baby.  Guess I will have something to  blog about from now on!!

Oh how I love May...

Well I love May for several reasons..# 1 reason is that it is almost the end of the school year, and summer break is just around the corner. #2 has to be all of the fun activities we have at the end of the school year.

Spring Carnival!!!!

My two assistant principals....Wendy getting her pie ready to bust Mike in the face...and then her look of victory :)
I also did the pie in the face but for some reason my I didn't get a picture of me or some of my pictures didn't transfer onto my computer from my camera..I will have to look and update later.

Track and Field.....Morris' MVP's

My kiddos tried really hard but I have a feeling that we will not place this year for overall class. I did have a few individual students place in the top three in their heats, but not enough to help us win the whole thing! Jason also didn't get a picture of the teacher race that I participated in..I won myself third place in that though :)

Morris' MVP's

My wonderful husband (in the green shirt) came out in the 90+ degree heat to help out with our track and field. He is judging the softball throw.

Then my kiddos trying their hardest to win tug-a-war..I think we got 4th!

Long time no post..

I am really terrible at this whole blogging thing, but I have told myself that I need to post at least once a month or until I really have something interesting to talk about! Maybe "babies" in the future but as of right now..Just us and the two dogs!!!

What has happened since the beginning of the year:

I started graduate school. I knew that I wanted to go back to school, but I just wasn't sure what I wanted to go back to get. After long thought I decided to do a 18 month program through Lamar University in Educational Administration. The classes are 5 weeks long with a week break in between. I am in my 5th week of my second class, and can say that it is VERY time consuming but fairly easy. It will all be worth it at the end when I have my masters though.

We traded in the old for new:
I had been wanting a car with more room for so long, but I didn't think my wonderful husband would go out and get me this....A 2009 Toyota Sequoia!

I LOVE it! It drives so well and I have room for all of my school stuff, the dogs, and much more! I call it my "swagga wagon" :)

Well a month later Jason traded in his truck on a new ride also. His other truck had just went over it's warranty and we were worried we were fixing to have some issues with it, and we got a really good deal on this one so it all worked out well.

Wedding Fever:

It has been a very busy wedding festivities month, but it made it all worth it because I got to head to New Boston a lot during March and April and spend time with my family. I had Erin's wedding shower in March, Amanda's shower in April, and then back for Erin's wedding at the end of April. Here is a picture of Lindsey and I posing at the altar :)

Mary, Lindsey and I in the photo frames that were set up at Erin's wedding.

Winding down:
The end of my second year of teaching is winding down and we are focusing mostly on my kiddos that didn't pass the reading or math parts of the TAKS. I am so ready to get all of this over with and have a summer break to relax. There are lots of FUN things happening this summer so I am very ready to let summer begin!!

I will leave you with some pictures over the last few months :)

These delicious strawberries my mom and I made for Amanda's shower :)

My birthday cake....Red Velvet Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory!!! YUMMY!!!

My sweet Adeline and me at Amanda's shower and the sweet little dress I got her..we kind of match!!!

My Aunt Diann and my papa when we went out 4 wheeling during spring break.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

Once it's time for Thanksgiving I get so excited because I know it is time I will get to spend with all of my family and truly see what I have to be thankful for. Even better I get three entire weeks about of school with in a month and a half time span :)

Thanksgiving..

We had a wedding to go to the weekend before Thanksgiving so we weren't able to head home to our families until the next week. Us at the wedding...Jason can never take a normal photo...

Of course Jason had to watch football on Sunday so we ended up leaving for our families on Monday morning.

The best part of my break was a girls day out with my granny. We went shopping for all of the great-grandkiddos Christmas gifts. We had so much fun, I can't remember the last time the two of us went shopping together. I spent the night with them that night and we had a good ol fashion present wrapping party with Papa playing his guitar and singing to us. (He was trying to get me to pick out a song for him to sing in church on Sunday. I have attached a video of him singing and me being a big ol baby in the background because I go back to my spoiled little girl days when I am around them..ha!) These are the memories I never want to forget as I get older.

I got up the next morning and "helped" PaPa haul logs. You see I am sitting on the four Wheeler which is my helping while he is back there working away :)

Everyone was really mad when I got waffles the next morning and they didn't. Granny always knows her sweet baby loves her waffles, another favorite memory of mine.

My friend from work Jennifer got married during the break also. She got married in this awesome building at the University of Houston. No lights needed with all of the windows in this building :)

Thanksgiving break was great, Jason and I ended up spending Thanksgiving apart..which was not ideal but with our families living nearly 4 hours apart it is hard to fit it all in. We both had a good time and headed back to Houston for a few more weeks of work until we head back home to do it all over again.

Christmas...

It snowed in Houston, this is like one in the 30 times in history it has snowed down here, so Zeus went out and played a little :

For Christmas break Jason and I decided to drive up in one car this time, to save on gas. Mason stayed at moms from Thanksgiving so we only had Zeus with us this time.

He dropped me off in New Boston and off he went to spend a few days in Arkansas before coming back to spend Christmas Eve with my family.

I got to finally meet my precious niece Adeline and spend a little time with my two BFF's Amanda and Lindsey, it was so not enough time though. Another exciting event was that Granny, Mom and I got to take another shopping trip all together. It was so much fun. It was just enough that I got to go with granny once, but to add mom into the equation this time made it amazing. I forgot how much fun we used to have all together and it made me miss it even more this time.

I got Granny and Mom addicted to Caramel Apple Spice from Starbucks...I think my granny has got her friend Joylen hooked on them now as well. Here is a picture of them enjoying them.

Christmas Eve came and Jason came back to New Boston to spend time with my family at Granny and PaPa's. We loaded up that night and took of to Arkansas to spend Christmas Day with his family. We stayed there a few days and hung out with his family but time sure does fly because before I knew it we were heading back to Houston.

New Years...

Buffalo Wild Wings shuts down early and has a private party for all of their regular customers, yes regular customers...Jason loves his wings and sports..ha. It was a lot of fun they cooked like 10 times too much food but it was all really good. We brought in the New Year and then headed home. A few pics from the night...

Dee and I at the party.

Jason and I at the party.

I have probably forgotten something since I waited so long to post this, but I got the important stuff in here that I want to remember.
